Overview
This individual will be responsible for optimizing these processes to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. The role involves collaborating closely with operations leaders and operators to implement statistical best practices and continuous improvement methodologies. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and Product Development, to drive innovation in polymer processing technologies.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while reducing waste.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in polymer extrusion engineering.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering
- Strong project management skills.
- Implement safety frameworks such as OSHA guidelines and other relevant or regulatory standards.

Maintenance Supervisor
Overview
The incumbent is responsible for the installation, removal, repair, and preventive maintenance of rotating equipment within the manufacturing floor.- Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces, and installs various types of pulp molding machinery, as well as pumps, motors, fans, compressors, shafts, pulleys, hoists, conveyors, and other related rotating equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance on above referenced equipment
- Performs all duties in accordance with the current Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Act; as well as, Government rules and regulations, and Company Policies
- Holds a valid Millwright certificate of qualification recognized by the Nova Scotia Department of Education
- Five years recent and related journeyperson experience in a corrective and preventive maintenance environment

Overview
Will lead and direct all aspects of production on the assigned shift. Directly, and through subordinate staff, you will be responsible for the safety, training, and development of our production teams. You will serve as a Leadership resource to your Working Team Leads by providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice.- Coordinating and assisting the activities of production personnel/teams as well as being an independent problem solver in order to meet customer delivery, quality and cost requirements, as well as the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
- Lead weekly department shift meetings with all personnel and daily meetings with WTL’s to stay ahead of ongoing issues & audit their responsibilities.
- Track performance expectations: making sure that daily shift responsibilities are being met and monitored.
- High School or GED plus 3 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a team leader or supervisory positions

Overview

The position will drive a culture of continuous improvement and build strong employee engagement to achieve the organizations’ performance goals.- Leads the plant safety initiatives through participation in safety training programs, plants safety meetings, safety audits and encouraging employee involvement through safety suggestion and recognition programs
- Responsible for the selection, training, growth and development of shift and staff personnel to attain organizational goals
- Directs operations so that all plant costs are within budgetary goals; proactively identifies and resolves issues that will prevent goal attainment
- 7-10 years of experience with continuous manufacturing environment in a leadership role
- Certifications in project management, quality management, or lean manufacturing are a plus
